Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly — your name, email address, and the spiritual habit and goal data you enter into the app. We also collect usage data (such as feature interactions and session length) to help us improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Wordman service, send you important product updates, and enable features like accountability partnerships and church-wide plans. We may send you occasional emails about new features — you can opt out at any time.

Data Sharing

We share data with your accountability partners and church leaders only to the extent required by the features you use. We use trusted third-party services (such as Supabase for data storage and Expo for push notifications) and require them to handle your data securely.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us at privacy@wordman.app. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level security policies. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Wordman after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
